黄金板屋楓, would be Ōgon-itaya-kaede, because here itaya-kaede is clearly the common name for Acer pictum ssp mono; thus "Golden Painted Maple", using the Western common name. I find no reference to this, but Ōgon itaya is listed, so I have retained this name for now. These are likely the same maple, though why such a name would exist under Acer palmatum is a mystery. (ED)
