琴糸 八房, Koto-ito-yatsubusa means "Bushy Koto Strings." As in many Kanji, the "no" character may be taken as read. (ED)
Koto-ito-yatsubus has deeply cut and and coarsly indented leaves, almost an intermediate form with a dissectum. Spring foliage is green with brown tips, and the secondary flush of leaves is red. The fall color is red. (ED)
