乙女桜, Otome-zakura, seems to be of Japanese origin. It means "Maiden of the Cherry Blossoms." (ED)

Otome zakura is a variegated upright with a brilliant salmon-pink coloring in spring. It is similar to Shindeshojo or Beni maiko, but a slower grower. Otome zakura will reach maturity at approximatey 12', forming a tree as wide as it is tall. (Maiden cherry) (DSN)
