Shu shidare (Buchholtz) is the correct name, it's unclear where the diacritical came from. Shu, 朱 might be described as "Temple-gate Orange." It is a dark orange-red, more of a Vermillion directly. Shidare of course means Weeping. (ED)
Shu shidare is a vigorous mounding laceleaf. Its foliage is orange in the spring, fading to an orange red as the summer progresses. The fall color is a bright orange. (Orange weeper) (DSN, as Shu shidare)
