鶴の舞, Tsuru-no-mai, means "Dance of the Crane." It is a joyous and auspicious symbol, fitting for this grace pink variegate from Saitama Prefecture. Tsuru no mai (Esveld, DSN, MrMaple) (ED)

Tsuru-no-mai is a an upright variegated palmatum in the Orido nishiki family. Variegation is more white flecks than scallops. Mature height is unknown, but probably in the 14 to 16' range. Autumn colors are orange and red. (DSN, as Tsuro no mai)
