Ken bu is a green Linearilobum Group maple, semi-dwarf in stature. Spring growth is a pinkish orange soon fading to a deep green. Fall color is a strong yellow and orange. Mature height is unknown, but probably under 12'. It is a selected seedling of Shiobu ga oka. (Sword) (DSN, as Kenbu)
