ICNCP Name: 'Kogane sakae'
Formerly 'Kogane sakae'

Japanese Maple Classification:
Amoenum Group
Hardiness Zone (for guidance only):

Although this is a correctly translated epithet, which would be "ko-gane-sakae" meaning Golden Prosperity, since it is apparently not Japanese named, we don't change the epithet. (ED)
Kogane sakae is an upright green palmatum. Spring leaves are pinkish red, soon maturing to a bright green. It is notable primarily for its yellow striations on green bark. Fall color is yellow. (Golden prosperity) (DSN)
