It almost certainly refers to Oda Nobunaga (織田 信長), 1534-1582 CE, the ruthless and powerful feudal Lord who initiated the unification of Japan during the Warring States Period. He is often called "The First Great Unifier" of Japan. His immense legacy makes him a key figure in Japanese History. (ED)
