The International Code of Nomenclature for Cultivated Plants (ICNCP) establishes the rules and regulations for proper naming of plants. When different, the cultivar database displays the correct(ed) ICNCP name, rather than its previous cultivar name.

Raigo-ji (Esveld) Raigo ji (MrMaple). Yano gives us 来迎寺 and ライコウジ for Raigō-ji, but then incorrectly romanizes regardless of the specific Katakana. Raigō-ji is a Templei in Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture. The temple itself does not use the rendaku, spelling their name Raikō. (ED)
