Ryugu (Esveld, MrMaple), 竜宮, Ryūgū, means "Palace of the Dragon." Gū is the on'yomi reading of the native kun'yomi pronunciation, "miya." The Checklist 1st ed. incorrectly omitted the macron on the final letter. (ED)
Ryû gu is an excellent variegated dwarf. Leaves are a medium green with white and pink spots on red twigs. Mature height is unknown. Autumn color is a bright red. (Dragon Palace) (DSN, as Ryu gu)
