〆野村, Shime-nomura, is a curious epithet. The first character is an abbreviation, fully written 締め and often associated with shimenawa, sacred straw ropes used in Shinto shrines to mark purified areas. Thus it probably doesn't mean closed in the sense of a store after-hours. A translation is "Forbidden Village in the Meadows." (ED)
