Shojo-nomura(Hilliers Manual 2014), Shojoh namura(Esveld) 猩々野村, Shōjō-nomura is difficult to translate directly with any meaning. In a metaphorical way is means "shōjō's Wild Place", 野村 meaning directly rural vilage. A shōjō is a mythical monkey-like sea spirit, with red face and hair and a love of alcohol. (ED)

Shojo nomura is a formal red upright that is taller than it is wide. The leaves fade to garnet/orange-red with green over tones in the summer. Shojo nomura is similar to Nursesagi, but is broader at maturity. (Red faced monkey) (DSN)
