Tyuetsu is possible an old way of pronouncing 中越, Chūetsu. There is no place currently pronounced this way. So we will assume it may mean "Brocade from Chūetsu." (ED)
Tyuetsu nishiki is a variegated upright palmatum. Its variegation is more subtle than Oridono nishiki, but it is a beautiful plant. Mature height is unknown. Fall color is orange and red. (DSN)
