This extraordinarily hardy maple has tolerated as low as 40°F multiple times per season, over the course of a 20 year evaluation period. With a typical Korean Maple leaf shape, and medium green summer colors, Kordak has good orange fall color, and has proved resistant to winter sun scald as well as summer leaf scortch. (ED/NDSU)
