Found as a seedling on Mt Keikanzan, the deeply divided leaves are very small. They are a delightful fresh green in Spring, before turning a beautiful, slightly darker green in summer. Autumn color is usually red. It is a small or dwarf tree, forming a very graceful, naturally tiered habit. (ED)
