佐保木蘭, Saho-moku-ran, literally means "Saho Tree Orchid," using the on'yomi (Sino-Japanese) readings for 木蘭. However, these characters also mean "magnolia", which makes no more sense, but there it is. "Saho Magnolia", a very odd name and perhaps one I haven't fully understood. (ED)
