Shigarami is a green palmatum with star shaped leaves. The spring foliage is a bright green with tips dipped in red-purple. The fall color is a rich yellow-orange. It is similar to Tsuma gaki, but is much easier to grow. The horizontal branching of Shigarami makes a pleasingly layered specimen, taller than it is wide.
