Taki no gawa (Maillot), very distinct from the japonicum. Taki-no-gawa means "River of Waterfalls" 滝の川 was the 1911 spelling, using the traditional form (kyūjitai), but by 1930 it was written 滝の川, using the simplified (shinjitai) characters. The difference in the central kana character, Hiragana in 1911 but Katakana in 1930, is just personal choice. Note that the 1930 rōmaji is a rare error from Nakajima, he wrote Takara-no-kuni, which matches neither the kanji nor the kana. The Japanese version shown in Yano is a very distinct from Maillot's dissectum. (ED)
