Though it was a small turnout, MSNAB members enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with hosts Wendy and Reesha at their beautifully landscaped yard in Rainier Valley. The weather cooperated by (mostly) holding off the rain, and we enjoyed great food and drink while enjoying the varied collection of maples, mostly in pots. Many trees are in part to full shade which really shows off their bright spring colors. They have created a beautiful display for themselves and passersby to enhance their fabulous view of Lake Washington and the Cascade mountains. Plans are in the works for a similar activity later this year.
